Parent Education

Planet Kids encourages a close relationship between home and school. Our goal is to build a strong connection between the child’s home and school life, to support the role of parenthood and to provide a mechanism to foster the child’s growth and development. Participating in parent education and implementing some of the “Montessori at Home” ideas provided by Planet Kids can have lasting positive impact. Parent education is provided by the Planet Kids Parent Club in collaboration with Endless Circle, and non-profit corporation founded by Afrose Amlani to support education in the community.
Families are encouraged to participate in long or short term projects such as serving on committees, preparing materials for classroom projects, repairing equipment, sharing specialized skills or talents and assisting at scheduled events.

Parent Club

The Planet Kids Parent Club was established for the purpose of creating a parent community that would support the families in one of the most challenging yet most important task of raising children. The Parent Club shares the Planet Kids vision, provides feedback, supports community building, offers parent and family resources, organizes parent education and aids in various center wide events. Getting involved in the Parent Club is easy. Just respond to the invitation that may be sent during your initial enrollment period or you may speak with our Administrative Assistant or Program Supervisor or contact the Parent Club Chair person directly via email.
