Meet Our Enrichment Studio Instructors
Xenia Deleon, our Enrichment Program Supervisor and our music, fine arts and creative movement instructor holds a BA in elementary education, is Washington State certified in elementary instruction and has a Master's degree in Creative Arts in Learning. Xenia brings with her many years of experience in instructing young children in music, drama, creative arts, drawing and movement. She has taught in the Mukilteo School District and at the Open Arts Studio in Tacoma.
Jennie McDonald, our dance and gymnastic instructor earned her degree in Dance Education and Performance at the Cornish College of the Arts. Jennie has over fifteen years of dance training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and gymnastics from the University of Oregon, New Vision Dance Center and Westlake Dance Studio. She has taught dance to children and adults for the past ten years and is a professional dancer. Jenny also comes with several years of experience as a certified gymnastics instructor.
Dorothy Corrigan has a BA in English from Assumption College and a Master's degree in Education from Boston College. She taught for 10 years as a special education instructor to 1st and 2nd graders. Dorothy is a certified, classical, ecclectic, Hatha Yoga teacher as well as a graduate of the Children's Yoga Certification program. She also brings a wealth of previous experiences teaching yoga to preschoolers. |
